Bracelet Bag

I needed something little just to hold my keys, cellphone and license when I go to Church. Just too cumbersome to carry a big purse. Hence, a pattern I found for a bracelet bag. Takes about 3 hours to make... Use bracelets as handles and fits nicely on my wrist!!

My "recycled" doll creation

This is my first "doll" composed of a soft angora sweater (found at my local Goodwill for $3.00)... The baby hair is some Alpaca fiber. Hand sewn (and for the folks that know me,,, I strongly dislike sewing!!!) I think this one may have to go to my Goddaughter!

A "labor day" of fiber dying

A customer has ordered several pink felted soaps for Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October).. So I had to get busy and do some fiber dying.
First you bundle the fiber w/ties at both ends. You soak it in the citric acid/water bath for 30 minutes. Next,, into the pot of pink for 30 minutes. I dry it on the rack.. then into balls of roving for easier manipulation when making the soaps!

I love the South!! I could so be a full time beach bunnie or southern belle!
